James Bell

James Bell plays the the alto saxophone, among other instruments, for over twenty years and, during this time, his love of music has lead him to study Jazz at college and gain a degree in Music Practice at UCLAN.

In the week he teaches people of all ages and abilities on saxophone and guitar. His first instrument has always been saxophone and currently perform at functions across the North West, using a sound system that requires minimal set-up in terms of time and space, and through which he plays high-quality backing tracks behind his live sax. His music tastes are varied and reflects in his choice of music, playing songs from the 40s up to present day.

My aim is to create a relaxed, smooth sound; providing the perfect background music for any event. To this end, I play mostly jazz and pop but can tailor my set list to meet any specific requirements or requests.

James Bell is the perfect musician for performing at weddings, drinks reception and wedding breakfast, parties, anniversaries and various private functions.
