Singer of the Lakes, is a professionally trained Crossover Artist from the Lake District, Kendal. She has had the pleasure of training at the West End famous Laine Theatre Arts and Guildford School of Acting, achieving a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. Singer of the Lakes specialises in classical crossover and vintage singing and offers a variety of bespoke shows, tailored to your special event. With over 15 years of experience, Singer of the Lakes clear tone and warm personality has wowed audiences worldwide and has enjoyed performing on some of the greatest cruise ships, hotels and theatres across the globe. Singer of the Lakes is best known for her career as a production vocalist, classical guest act and a lover of vintage music. She also has a PGCert in 'Teaching and Learning for Higher Education' and is a choir conductor and singing teacher in her spare time. ​

In 2020 Singer of the Lakes was an official nominee for 'Best Female Solo Artist' in the National Entertainment Awards, in the North Regional finals gaining a top 10 position. Throughout the national lockdown she continued to stream LIVE shows on social media and even recorded 6 new music videos available on YouTube. Singer of the Lakes is also a singer/songwriter, writing and releasing her own creations, 'What is the word' and ‘Independent' available on all major music platforms. One of Singer of the Lakes favourite roles was performing in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular as a classical/musical theatre singer and soloist, where she had the honour of performing to the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their official engagement. She also loves to sing with the Lipsticks Vintage Trio and tours with the group across the UK. 

Singer of the Lake's Classical Crossover Act portrays the beautiful tones of classical music and operetta arias. She combines this with jazzy classics from some of the biggest artists ever known, singing contemporary pop and musical theatre songs with a classical/vintage twist. ​Singer of the Lake's Classical Crossover act has been performed in venues across the globe, including on tour around the Mediterranean at 'Max Royale' in Belek where the European Golf Championships take place annually, Limak, Grecotel, Hilton, Sentindo, TUI Sensatori, Sherwood, Marriott, First Choice, Cornelia, Sheraton, Atlantica, Diamond Resorts, Marella Cruises and world class yachts. She has also had the honour of singing at such venues as 'The Royal Albert Hall', 'Her Majesties Theatre' in London and the 'Walt Disney Symphony Hall' in Los Angeles. She has enjoyed singing with such stars as G4, "The choir" as seen on Channel four, The King Singers, Eric Whitacre, the Morman Tabernacle Choir, the Swingle Singers, Sir John Rutter, Sir David Wilcox and Julian Lloyd Webber. Singer of the Lakes has also enjoyed two tours across Europe and America early in her career with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and continues to work with them now.
