Flexible in size from 4 to 11 musicians (or larger on request), the LBE Salon Orchestra is the ideal ensemble for Banquets, Gala dinners, Masonic dinners, Military Mess dinners, Summer Balls, Charity fund-raising events and Viennese Balls. With regular performances in London's top venues including Mansion House, The Guildhall, Grosvenor House and the Dorchester Hotel, the LBE Salon Orchestra has a firmly established reputation as the leading function orchestra in the UK.
Flexible in size from 4 to 11 musicians, the LBE Salon Orchestra can offer a large selection of music suitable for any occasion, formal or informal. We can tailor a programme of music following your guidelines and are always happy to perform your requests if possible. Our repertoire includes classical favourites, music from stage and screen, waltzes, tangos, military music, entertaining solo features and much more.
Formal Dinners - We can perform suitable music for the formal aspects of many dinner functions, such as a trumpet fanfare and processional music for the entrance of the top table guests, National Anthems, Regimental Marches for military dinners, play-ups for awards, and specific music for the ceremonial aspects of Livery and Masonic dinners.
Singers - for extra entertainment we can provide singers to perform your favourite opera arias and songs from the shows, accompanied by the orchestra.
A grand finale - Our most requested finale number is the Post Horn Gallop, a dazzling duel between 2 or more Post Horn players positioned around your function room. We can also provide a ‘Last night of the Proms’ style finale including ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ and ‘Rule Britannia’.
