Andy Plimmer was classically trained as a boy soprano during the 1970s and can claim performances for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as performances with the CBSO at the Royal Festival Hall as his early achievements.
During his teens he developed a love of many different genres from classical to hard rock and started to study music to a high standard. During the 80s and 90s he created various bands and also wrote the music for the bands he fronted.
In recent years he has been involved more in theatre and stage musicals both performing and as chairman with various societies.
It was 3 years ago the Andy decided to develop himself as a solo artist, bringing his years of experience, and his flexibility as an artist, into play.
As a solo artist he perform a wide variety of music and can entertain a very mixed audience with everything from Swing/Neil Diamond Through to Hard Rock and he will vary his show to suit and please the audience in front of him. He has invested in a high quality PA system and Lights and also Proudly performs his Meat Loaf Tribute act for which he has the perfect voice. (Accuracy, Quality & Power)
He doesn’t profess to be the real thing but he certainly sounds as near as you’re gonna get.

Thank you for an amazing evening in Worcester last night! As a longstanding Meatloaf fan I’d booked for 9 of us to come and see you. I was little apprehensive as although I could be certain I’d have a great night given how much I love what you sing, I was unsure what others would think. No need to have worried, it was amazing, the messages flying around last night after the show said it all, what a top night! Your and Mrs Loud’s (and your (‘Geetar’ist’s) voices are incredible and your musicians superb. I really love a tribute band that doesn’t take themselves too seriously, your audience interaction and band interaction was perfect & lovely, we could honestly have stayed for hours longer. Anyway, I guess you can tell we enjoyed it so thank you again.
